Staff tracking module

Who ran what, where, and how well

Operator-wise, machine-wise, shift-wise. Output, waste and downtime per person, so productivity and piece-rate wages are computed from the same entries — and the best operators are visible, not just the loudest.

Staff & Shop-floor Tracking is coming soon.

This module is on the roadmap and is not released yet. What is available today is Nexora ERP, Nexora Sales & Costing, Nexora Jobwork and Fabric Inventory. Tell us what you need from shop-floor tracking and we will build it against a real plant's requirement — .

Machine allocation

Assign operators and helpers to machines per shift. Swaps and absences recorded as they happen.

Output per person

Kg, rolls, metres or bags produced by each operator, from the same production entry the supervisor already makes.

Waste per person

Waste by type and operator — the difference between a 2% and a 5% loom operator is real money each month.

Downtime & idle time

Reason-coded stoppages against the operator on duty, reconciled with maintenance breakdowns.

Skills & training

Which constructions and machines each person is cleared for; training records for audits.

Incentives

Shift and monthly incentive schemes computed from output and quality, feeding straight into payroll.

Simple capture, serious reports

One entry per shift, many answers

Supervisors enter output and waste once — on a PC or a phone at the machine. Nexora turns that into operator productivity, machine efficiency, waste trend and wage inputs without any extra typing.

  • Operator leaderboard by output and waste %, per process
  • Machine efficiency by shift and by operator on it
  • Attendance vs allocation: who was present but not on a machine
  • Optional GPS/site check-in for multi-unit or field staff

Why operator-wise output matters on a woven sack floor

Most plants know what the factory produced yesterday. Far fewer know what each machine produced, and almost none know what each person produced on it. Yet that is where the differences live: the same loom, the same tape, the same shift length, and two operators with output a long way apart.

Nexora records one entry per person per machine per shift. From that single habit, a surprising number of questions become answerable.

Question a plant asksWhat the entry answers it with
Who ran this roll? The operator, the machine and the shift against every production entry
Why was output low on Tuesday night?Output beside downtime and reason, for that shift
Is this operator improving? The same person's output across weeks, on the same machine
Which machine suits which operator?Output per person per machine, rather than one average
Who should be trained, and on what?Where a person's output or waste sits apart from the line
What do we pay this week? The same entries, carried into payroll as piece-rate or daily wages

One entry, not a stopwatch

This is deliberately not a monitoring system. Nobody is timed, filmed or scored on a screen at the back of the shed. A supervisor records what a shift produced and on which machine, exactly as most plants already do on paper — the difference is that it is entered once and then counts, instead of being copied into three registers and reconciled at month end.

Contractor labour counted the same way

Most woven sack floors run a mix of company staff and contractor labour, and the contractor's bill is usually taken on trust. When contract workers are recorded against machines and shifts like everyone else, the bill can be checked against what was actually run, and the two conversations — output and payment — stop being separate.

Shifts, not days

A plant that runs three shifts does not have one working day, it has three. Averaging them hides everything worth knowing. Nexora keeps the shift as the unit throughout: output, downtime, waste and people all belong to a shift, so the night shift can be compared with the day shift instead of dissolved into it.

What it connects to

Shop-floor tracking is not a separate application. The same entries feed attendance and payroll, sit beside machine downtime so a low shift can be explained rather than blamed, and roll up into the production reporting of the Nexora ERP. One entry, several answers — which is the only way a floor system survives past the first month.
